She is a certified NRA and USCCA Firearms Instructor, Range Safety Officer, and Massachusetts State Police Approved Instructor for the Basic Firearms Safety (BFS) and Home Firearm Safety (HFS) courses. Understanding that self-defense goes beyond firearms. She teaches situational awareness and pepper spray courses to provide a well-rounded approach to personal safety. Kerrie Ann currently serves as the Women's Program Assistant and Outreach Director for the Gun Owners’ Action League (GOAL), where she leads efforts to educate and empower individuals across the state. She is the Massachusetts State Director for Armed Women of America (AWA) and an advocate with the Women For Gun Rights (WGR), working to give women a voice in the fight to preserve Second Amendment rights. Kerrie Ann is a board member of the Second Amendment Institute (SAI), where she promotes education-focused outreach and policy. She also hosts the “Sisters In Arms - A FireArm Strorey (SIA)” YouTube series, which spotlights women in the firearms community and shares real stories of empowerment, resilience, and responsible gun ownership.
What began as a personal journey to overcome fear and protect her family has become a lifelong mission to help others do the same. Through Ways To Be Empowered, Kerrie Ann provides judgment-free, skill-based training with compassion, clarity, and conviction—because true empowerment starts with education and confidence.
